Zonotic diseases or Zonoses are infections that can be transmitted directly or indirectly between animals and humans. For example Zonotic diseases can be transmitted by having contact with infected animals or by consuming contaminated foodstuffs.

1. Anthrax Livestock, wild animals and environment Ingestion or direct contact.
2. Avian Influenza Poultry Direct contact.
3. Cat scratch fever. Cats Bite or scratch.
4. Bovine tuberculosis Cattle Milk.
5. Lyme disease Ticks, rodents and small mammals+–. Tick bite
6.  Rabies Dog, Foxes, bats, cats Bite
7. Ebola Rodents, bats, Primates, Ebola Direct contact, ticks and inoculation.
