In many of my previous articles, I have talked much about the concept of web analytics as well as how understanding it can help the organization to improve customer loyalty. First and foremost, we need to look at Off-site web analytics. This is been done by third party. In offline analytics, everything about the website is been analyzed whether you are the one that owns it or not.

This include the number of visitors visiting the website. The average revenue generated on the website among others. All these are part and parcel of offline analytics for a website.

On- site web analytics
When you are doing on site analytics, you are measuring the behavior of customer while they are carrying out activities on your website.

The activities of the visitors are measured through the use of plugins. This at times is only available to those that have administrative access to the website.
