Examining Waterfall Methodology in PMP

Waterfall methodology is another form of project methodology that I will be talking about in this article. I have discussed agile methodology and other methodologies of executing a project in my previous articles.

When you are using this type of methodology to manage your project, you need to know that one phase has to finish completely before the next phase of the project can start.

Another unique feature of this type of methodology is that once a particular phase is completed , that particular phase will not be revisited for any reason.

In waterfall methodology, there is no rigid method that has to be used. The method to be adopted all depends on the type of project that you have at hand. Example of such phases could include requirements, design, implementation, verification, deployment and maintenance among others.
