In this article, I will be looking at some of the facts that we know to know about Programs organisational project management. Follow me as we look at that in this article.
A Program is a group of related projects, subsidiary programs, and activities that are managed in a coordinated manner to obtain benefits that are available from managing those projects individually. This involves projects that have common objectives and it will make sense to manage them together.

Also, Programs always have a scope that covers the scope of the different components of the program. Programs can deliver its benefits by ensuring that the outputs and outcome reflect why the program is been set up in the first place. All the scopes are coordinated by the Program Manager in order to achieve the desired objectives.

Furthermore, Programs are managed in a manner that accepts and adopt and adapts to change as necessary. This helps to optimize the delivery of benefits as the program ‘s components. Most at times, a change to one part of the project will also affect the overall program. This will determine what the outcome of the entire program will be at the end of the day.

Also, Programs are managed using high-level plans that track interdependencies and progress of program components. When one is considering the Programs Organizational Project Management, you should note that Program plans are also used to guide planning at the component level as well. That means when you are planning individual projects, you should look at how it affects the entire Programs as well.
Under Program Management, the Programs are managed by Program Managers who ensure that program benefits are delivered as expected by coordinating the activities of different program components that make up the program. That means the program Manager will have several Project Managers working under him in order to achieve the desired results.

Under the monitoring aspect of Program Management, Program Managers monitors the progress of program components in any organisation in order to ensure that overall program goals, schedules, budgets and benefits are achieved. They have to make sure that only what is covered in the projects are being done at any given time.
#5 Success as part of Programs Organisational Project Management
Finally, A Program’s success is measured by the program’s ability to deliver its intended benefits to an organisation. It is also about the Program’s efficiency and effectiveness in delivering those benefits that will determine whether a program is successful or not.
