It is very unlikely for this type of organisational structure to have a Professional Project Manager due to financial constraints. The Business Owner might just pick any individual to manage the project.

 

Also, in organic organisational structures, the project manager’s role is part-time. He will have to perform his normal role and project management roles. He may not have a designated role or skill as a Project Manager. He may just be a Project Coordinator or Expediter.

Above all, in this type of organisational structure, there is little or no project administrative structure. The organisation does not have any team in place to manage project initiatives. Every project activities are being handled like a normal day to day business.
