Performing Ongoing Risk Assessment for Projects
The ongoing risk assessment process is an iterative process of identifying, analyzing and documenting the risk facing your project. It is conducted throughout the project lifecycle.
This is particularly an organisational issue that requires the project manager, or the PMO to have project managers outside the projected shadow.
It also provides oversight and fresh perspective during project management revisions.
When you are performing ongoing risk assessments for projects, you need to have a time that you will examine the project risk once again to do a reappraisal of already identified risks. This is to determine whether those risk still exist or not. Doing this from time to time might also assist the project manager in mitigating risks for the project.
