2 Types of Interviewing Methods for Projects
There are several ways that Project Managers can adopt interviewing methods in order to know the wishes of their stakeholders concerning a particular project. Interviews will allow the Project Manager to understand the personal views of stakeholders concerning a particular project.
#1 DIRECT INTERVIEWING METHODS
This has to do with approaching an expert to assign subjective probabilities to a given range of values, providing the lowest possible value, most likely values and highest possible value to any given risk value.
When you are using a direct interviewing method for requirement gathering, you are trying to approach stakeholders directly and get their views about the proposed project. This also gives you the opportunity to correct any wrong impression or assertion that they have about the project.
#2 DIAGRAMMATIC METHOD
This uses algorithms to seek advice from an expert to assign subjective probabilities to a given range of values, providing a lowest possible value, most likely value and highest possible value to any given risk or value. Diagrammatic methods allow you to interact with stakeholders and educate them on what is likely to happen when they decided to support the project. It also ensures that you and your stakeholders are on the same page as far as the project is concerned.
