#2 Quantity
After you might have identify all the resources that you need to execute your project, you need to identify the quantity of resources that you need in order to execute your project. Most at times, while trying to identify resources, you may just know the number of people that you need from a particular department but you do not know the actual number of people that you need for a particular project. You need to know the actual number of people that you need before you even commence the project in earnest.

#3Duration
There is the need for you to know the duration that it will take each of the resource to complete a particular task. This becomes necessary because your resources might be engaged in another task. Knowing the duration of each of the committed tasks will help them to prepare themselves ahead of the task.

#4 Resource calendar
There is the need for you to refer to the Resource Calendar so as to know when each of the resources will be available. If you are using third parties for your project, you need to create special calendar for them. This will help you not to fix the resource to a time when they will not be available for your project.
