In this article, I want to talk about how to use Format Painter in Microsoft Excel. Format Painter can be used when you want to apply the format that you have applied from one part to another part of your worksheet. It can be applied to Font, Bold, Italics and other parts of a particular cell. You can copy this and apply it to other part of your worksheet.
Let me quickly show you how to do Format Painter in this article. I will be using the cell that has Shelley. I will format it and apply it to other part of the cell in the range.
Here now, I will increase the Font to 14, bold it and Italize it. This will now be applied to other part of the Worksheet.
I have now formatted it to Arial Rounded MT Bold, 14 and italize it. I will now apply it to other part of the worksheet.
When you look at the Clipboard group, you will see the Painter. You can now apply it to other part of the Range.
The Cell is now shinning, you can now drag it over other cell area.
If you have other questions, you can make use of the comment box. I believe this is tie saving. You can now drag it over the cells as this will be applied to other areas of the cell.
