Mass media as part of digital marketing adoption is any media that allows you to reach many audiences at the same time. There are some tools in mass media that can be used to reach multiple audiences at the same time. In this article, I want to look at mass media and digital marketing adoption in several organizations. Follow me as we look at this together in this article.

 

Talking about mass media in digital marketing. Here are some of the examples which include: TV, cinema, radio, social media, email, apps among others.

 

When you at TV, Cinema, and radio, you will see that this is more of a group media experience. When this kind of message is released, it is possible that you are doing this as a group. It is also possible that we are having the same kind of stimuli. There may not be time to actually digest the message and take action.

When it comes to social media, emails, and apps, the message is customized and personalized for the user. Most people used email, social media and apps to consume information but thanks to technology, it is possible for such messages to be customized based on who logged in. Take, for example, two of us can log in but we are likely to see different messages because all those messages are generated based on interest and demography of the logged-in user.

 

Like I said earlier, the platform makes use of cookies and algorithms which allows the channels to really understand what each of the users is really interested in. You should note that the algorithm is at the heart of digital marketing.

  • News Feed algorithms consider the type of posts with which individual users typically engage and that influences what shows up.
