Analyzing The Consideration Stage Of The Buyer’s Journey
The consideration stage of the buyer’s journey is the stage when the buyer is about to make choice as regards which of the organization on top of his list he should purchase a product from. At this stage, he might be a little bit confused about which organization to purchase from.
The role of the Marketing department at this stage is to educate the user about the benefits of the products as well as some of the reasons why he needs to purchase from that organization.
Also at this stage, the marketers in collaboration with sales personnel need to create a sense of urgency so that the buyer will feel he is going to miss something if he fails to make a decision on time.
It is very possible at this stage the consumer is making frantic effort to know more about your product. He might have decided to sign up for your newsletter, follow your social media channels and watch your YouTube videos. He might even be comparing your products with that of your competitors.
Here also, the sales team and Marketers need to answers some questions about the products and services. Some of these questions include:
- Why should I buy from you?
- Why makes your products to be better?
- What are your past customers beating about your products?
- What level of effort is put into production?
It also makes a lot of sense to adopt an inbound approach at this stage of the buyer’s journey. When this is used, you are able to personalize the offer. It will also assist the prospect in knowing what makes your products to be different as well as how your product can help in solving his problem.
