In my previous articles , I have looked at some of the amazing features that were introduced into Microsoft Excel 2013. It is really cool because it really makes working with Microsoft Excel much more easier. In this article, I want to discuss more features of this powerful tool. Follow me as we look at this together in this article.
#1: RESULT ORIENTED INTERFACE
There was the replacement of the old toolbar with menu which is now replace with a new tool called Ribbon. This ribbon is task oriented and it also has tools and images that can help you to easily recognise them. Most of the old menus are now turned into tools in Microsoft Excel 2013.
#2: GRAPHIC ENHANCEMENT
One other addition in Microsoft Excel 2013 is graphic enhancement. It look more colourful and more matured as from Excel 2013 on. There is now a robust Smart Art feature including improvements to conditional formatting and shapes. It also comes with new Themes and cell styles.
#3: IMPROVED FORMATTING
There was also an improvement upon some of the features of formatting that we have in Word 2007. This include cell styles , theme and gallery. You can now use a pointer to see how your work will look like before you finally confirm it.
#4: PAGE LAYOUT VIEW
We can say this is really more than a view. The page layout view allow you to make us of ruler and other tools in editing your work. It allows you to have full control over the appearance of your document that you are working with. This is one tool that you need when you want to edit your document.
