Before we delve into that discussion, here are some terms that you should know about when it comes to network security.

#1 Eavesdropping
The attacker can use some tools to find wireless networks when they can hijack SSIds and listen to broadcasts that are been sent over the network. This allows them to hijack data without the sender or the receiver consent.

#2 Data interception and modification
Attackers who gain access to a network can at times introduce a rogue computer to intercept, modify and relay communication between two legitimate parties using a network.

#3 Denial of service
Also, attackers can shut down access points to other devices on the network by jamming air with noise, rerouting connection to dead ends or disconnecting valid clients from using the network.
