Lets talk about four more types of E-Business model in Digital marketing



According to Computer World, An e-business model can be seen as the approach a company takes to become a profitable business on the Internet. In one of my previous articles, I have discussed four main types of business model in E-Business which includes Brokerage model, Merchant model, Community model and Manufacturing model. In this article, I want to look at four business models that we can have in E-Business. Follow me as we look at this together.

E-Business model

#1 Affiliate model as an example of e-business model

Under the Affiliate model as a typical example of e-business model, we are referring to advertising merchant organisations that we normally referred to as Merchant advertisers who offer some commission on Pay-Per-Click basis. A good example is Google Adsense where bloggers earn money by placing Google generated articles on their blogs.


#2 Advertising model as an example of e-business model

This is an E-Business model that generates income online through selling of Advert space where adverts can be placed by Advertisers . This kind of E-Business model normally charges flat rate for such adverts on a pre-determined basis.

#3 Subscription model as an example of e-business model

In this kind of E-Business model, members pay a subscription fee to get high quality contents. These members have to pay in order to have access to materials that will add value to them. Most at times as well, such website or blogs offer limited access to materials that are available on the blog.

#4 Utility model as an example of e-business model

Under this model, activities are monitored and users pay only for the services they utilized on a particular website. Here, some of the E-Business model offers applications that have been placed on the website. This might be a Search Engine Optimization website or other services that are attractive to users on the website.
