Here are some of the keyboard shortcuts you should know as an Excel Expert…

 

This article explains some of the ways that you can use keyboard shortcuts to work faster with Microsoft Excel.

Learning some of these shortcuts will increase your speed as an Excel Expert. You will be able to work smarter and better also.

Here are some of the shortcuts…

If you want to move one cell Up, down, left or right from the currently selected cell, you just need to press Up, Down, Left or Right arrow key on the keyboard.

If you want to move to the cell in Column A of the current row, you just need to press the HOME key.

 

And this Excel shortcuts too…

If you want to create a new workbook, you will have to press Ctrl+N together.

You need to press Ctrl+ together to open a new workbook.

Press Ctrl+ S together to save or resave a new workbook.

You need to press F12 on your keyboard to save as.

Press Ctrl+P to print a workbook.

Also, You need to press Ctrl + F12 to open the Print preview window. This allows you to see how your final work will look like.

You need to press CTRL + F4 to close the current workbook that you are working on.

You might be working with Microsoft Excel and you need help, just press F1 and the help will come. 

To do undo your last action, just press Ctrl+z.

To redo your last action. just press Ctrl+Y on your keyboard.

To repeat the last action, press f4 on your keyboard.

You can press ALT + F14 to close Excel completely.

Expanding or collapsing Ribbon, you will press CTRL + F1. This is one of the keyword shortcuts that you should commit to memory. 

If you want to move to the first or last column or row of data, you just need to press and hold the Ctrl key, and then press the Up, Down, Left or Right arrow key. 

If you want to scroll up or down by one screen, you just need to press the Page Up or the Page Down key.

Activating an access key…

To activate Access key, press the Alt key on your keyboard. 

To move to next Ribbon control, press Tab key on your keyboard.

To activate or open selected control, press the Spacebar on your keyboard. 

Furthermore, when you need to control change in your excel sheet, you need to press ENTER on your keyboard.

When you want to get help with selected control, press F1 on your keyboard. 

There are one other keyboard shortcuts that you can use to scroll left or right. If you want to scroll left or right by one screen, you just need to press Alt+ Page Up or Alt+ Page Down.

In addition, if you want to scroll left or right by one screen, you need to press Alt+Page Up or Alt+ Page Down.

If you want to move one cell to the right, you need to press the Tab key. This is going to enter any data you have typed into the cell. 

More shortcuts to know…

Also, If you want to move one cell to the left, you need to press the Shift and Tab key together.

Coupled with that when you want to move one cell down when you are using this keyword shortcut, you need to press the ENTER key.

This will also enter any data you have typed into that cell. To enter data without navigating away from the cell, press Ctrl+ Enter.

Another keyword shortcut is the one that allows the user to move cell up. If you want to move one cell up, you will press Shift and Enter together.
To move to cell A1, you need to press Ctrl+Home together.

If you want to navigate left or right through the worksheet in a workbook, you need to press Ctrl+Page Up or Ctrl+Page Down. you should know that using this keyboard shortcuts also saves time.
