In my previous article , I have talked about the use of the General Tab in Microsoft Project 2013, in this article , I want to talk about some of the things that you can do with the Display located at the backstage of Microsoft Project 2013. Follow me as we look together at the use of this vital tool called the Display Tab.
One of the very first thing that you can do with the Display Tab of Microsoft Project 2013 is to change the Calendar type used for the Project . As you all know we have the Muslim calendar and the normal calendar that we are all used to. The software allows you to choose the type of calendar that is preferable to you.
You can also make use of the Buddhist calendar as you can see in the snapshot displayed above.
At this section of the Display Tab, you can choose which type of currency you want to use for the cost of your project. I have checked through the currency place in Microsoft project 2013 and I did not see the Nigerian naira. It is so pathetic and disturbing. I believe Microsoft need to correct this anomaly. You can put the symbol that you want as well as choosing the currency that you want to adopt for your project.
You should also note that at this section of the Display tab, you can choose the decimal unit for your project which shows how it will be displayed in your project.
At the Display Tab of Microsoft Project 2013, you can also show the warning signals that allows this scheduling software to warn you of some imminent dangers in your project. I will not advice you to change any of the default options that has been set for your project. It should be displayed like the snapshot shown below.
You should not forget that any changes that you are making need to be saved for it to take effect as well.
