One of the tools that you can use to customise the look of your interface in Microsoft Project 2013 is the General Tab located at the Backstage of Microsoft project 2013 and above. When you click on the Backstage, just look down and click on the Options Tb. This will allow you to change the look and feel of Microsoft Project 2013. In this article, I want to talk about some of the features that you can change using the General Tab of Microsoft Project 2013.
Under the General tab , you can change whether the interface in Microsoft Project 2013 will display the screen tip or not. If you are new to Microsoft Project or any other Office Window, the screen tip will allow you to know the functions of t a particular command. If you turn it off, the screen tip will not be displayed.
Another feature you can change through the General Tab is the default view. The normal default view is the Gantt Chart view which displays your activities in a Graphical format. This allow you to look at the graphics and understand what is happening with your project at a glance. You can change this to other types of views in Microsoft Project that you are comfortable with.
This happens to be one of the other changes that you can make in the General Tab of Microsoft Project 2013 is the default date, Most at times , you need to change the default date to what you are convinient with.
